Y2K & bbno$ – Lalala (Oliver Heldens Remix)
All in all, this remix made by Oliver Heldens goes the distance through and through. As it begins we are quickly reminded of the original with a tight vocal snippet from the original, backed by a well produced beat featuring a wicked drum backing. As the jam plays out we become aware that this is truly a work of Heldens as his catchy signature house style is certainly prevalent.

Far Out & Karra – Constellation
This piece has vocals that are beyond interstellar, many props to KARRA. I have even more props for Far Out, who made this gifted female vocalist shine bright by backing her with some of the most powerful inspiring synths and pads drops i’ve heard in recent time. Seven Lions is doing a great job at plucking ripe artists that fit his theme to a T.

Zeds Dead x Illenium – Where The Wild Things Are
Hopping into this absolute banger of a song we are immediately embraced with soulful vocals that emanate brilliance and meaning. The audience becomes more aware of the grand design between space and time as they swim through these vocals.

Band of Horses – The Funeral (Echos Remix)
Today’s track is difficult to discuss in words because it’s a complete and utter banger and bangers sometimes are better off simply listened to then discussed about why they should be listened to. If you’re into dubstep backed by wondrous vocals then you must check this piece out titled “The Funeral”, a cover that Echos did for Band of Horses.

Big Wild – Pale Blue Dot
It’s essentially a unique trap beat of sorts perfect for a rave, but one that would vibe equally as well in a small club like Echostage in DC. Iv’e had this in my gym playlist for a minute now and it fits into my routine perfectly so if you’re looking for some tracks to get down to this might be a right fit for you.

Zeds Dead & REZZ – Into The Abyss
Have a listen to this collab for yourself as it will surely get your wheels turning. It’s deep and full of spark, perfect if you are at home quarantined looking to bang out a few sets on that iron gym that’s been sitting under your bed in the abyss for the past year. It’s time to bust that thing out finally and go to town.

Rezz & Malaa – Criminals
Now here’s a collaboration that no one asked for, but everyone needs. I’d like to present to you today “Criminals” put together by the trippy bass tanks themselves, Rezz & Malaa. The two joined up to give their fans a special treat for Halloween and boy oh boy was the treat sweet.

SNBRN & BLU J – You Got Me Ft. Cara Frew
Upon entering into this piece we are welcomed with the sultry female vocals of Cara Frew and they reign supreme as the jam plays out. When you start to wonder what the singer looks like in person you know you have some good vocals on your hands, and that’s precisely what’s happening as “You Got Me” continues to crank on the speakers.

RL Grime & Juelz – Formula
I’m telling you bros and broletts, if you haven’t heard this one yet it’s time to tune in. The track whips up some terrifying noise combinations that will send shivers up your spine all the while making you want to drink up every last bit of its delightfully sweet formula.

Jason Ross x Dabin – One That Got Away Ft. Dylan Matthew
There are songs that cross my path once in a while that leave me completely jaw dropped, so this week I’d like to give a shout out to Jason Ross & Dabin for doing just that. I was a little late on the find of their release “One That Got Away” as it came out just before 2020 hit, but I’m so glad it found its way onto my lap.

NOEP – fk this up (Benny Benassi & BB Team Remix)
The weekend is on its way boys and girls so if you want to get this party started, then were going to have to add some kindling to the fire. And by golly, it just so happens that the plug for the spark just came through, brought to you by none other than Benny Benassi, an artist who’s been in the mix for some time now.

KYLE. Ft. Wiz Khalifa – Moment
You heard me, step the fk up baby and show me what you got, because I know you all got what it takes out there. Everyone holds a hidden talent, and if it’s rapping, I want to see you out there firing up everything you have inside baby. When you hit that mic I want you to hit it hard.

G Jones – In Your Head (RL Grime Edit)
If you are looking to get completely obliterated, it is my recommendation that you immediately crank out to RL Grimes Edit of “In Your Head”, it will surely make your head spin in the best of ways. The original by G Jones is also fantastic, so if we’re being honest here I’d make sure you listen to both.

GTA x Party Favor – Work It Out
Sometimes I like to get a little wild over here at Affinity Ascension so thank the skies that Party Favor & GTA came through with the goods containing their new release ‘Work It Out’, which has house shaking capabilities as well as potential to light up festival raves to grand proportions. It’s a banger that can be easily worked into a hard mix especially with the astral outro upon conclusion of the song.

Arc North – Sweet Sunshine
After much consideration I can say without a doubt in my mind that this is one of the best tracks that I have ever listened to. The heavenly flurry of electronic elements Arc sourced alongside the insanely inspiring vocal exposition filled every square inch of my being with immersive pleasure.

Meek Mill x Drake – Going Bad
Lord have mercy on the rap game right now as we got Meek and Drake out here collabing like it’s no one’s business. Their new slap “Going Bad” is fresh in the paint right now and is absolutely shredding the charts peaking at number 6 on the Billboard Top 100.

Seven Lions x Tritonal x Kill The Noise Ft. HALIENE – Horizon
We have a special one for you today and it’s surely one you won’t want to miss. Three power houses: Seven Lions, Tritonal, and Kill The Noise all come together for “Horizon” and bring forth a collab somehow capable of exceeding our expectations. Truly a cinematic beauty.

Bazzi – Mine (Young Bombs Remix)
Young Bombs continues to excite me to no end as this month they bring something unique to the table while still progressing the sound they are known for. This new track of theirs titled “Mine” has to be one of my favorites by them yet with an impressive new direction to an already strong original.
